When you call or stop into Stronghold Glass, Maria is the wonderful lady you will speak with. If there is one main way to describe Maria, it's that she cares!

Maria thrives on making sure you step out of our building happy with the service you received and love the help with your project, She will go above and beyond to help you. It is a sometimes delicate balance handling all the different custom orders that come in over the phone or through the door, but Maria does her best to treat each person like family and extend to you a cheerful countenance. We appreciate her willingness to help, Maria treats our customers with love and respect because they are her customers too. She truly cares!

In Her Own Words:

"I have been the secretary at Stronghold Glass LLC since July 2019. Some of my responsibilities include, greeting customers, answering the phone, ordering products and supplies, scheduling measure ups and installations, handling accounts receivable and accounts payable, and payroll.

I grew up in Adams County Indiana and graduated from South Adams Jr/Sr High School in 1995. In 2013, I decided to go back to school part time. I obtained an Associate Degree in Office Administration from Ivy Tech Community College in December 2016.

In 2006, I married my husband, Pat, and moved to Wells County. We have 2 daughters. Sydney attends Huntington University and is working towards a nursing degree with a psychology minor. Lillee attends Norwell Middle School and runs on the girls Cross Country team. Our family attends Life Community Church in Bluffton, where we all volunteer in different areas of the church. A couple of my favorite bible verses are:

1 Corinthians 15:10 “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain;..”
Because of God’s love and grace towards me, I am alive today to show His love and grace to others.

Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Because I know that no matter where I am, how I feel, or what I am going through, God is in control and that I only need to “be still” and trust in Him."

Caleb

Caleb’s cheerfulness, honesty and respect are greatly appreciated by us and our customers. He will go out of his way to make sure the finished product looks great!

If you have used our services in the past, you most likely have already met Caleb. He is the definition of a nice guy. When asked what was one of the best parts of working here at Stronghold Glass, he replied, “Getting the satisfaction out of completing a job and seeing customers excited about their finished product.”

A favorite project to do here in the shop is custom cutting, especially laminated safety glass – it is very satisfying to get that precision and cut exactly right. 75% of all our measurements and 90% of all our fabrication is done by Caleb. being a one stop glass shop means we have lots of diversification, this can be a challenge sometimes, but it does make for great diversification and job variety. It takes skill to juggle it all with ease and we would say Caleb has the finesse of a true glass master

Faith, Family and Friends are particularly important to Caleb and his sweet wife Whitney. They both have a great love for Jesus Christ and have very giving spirits to those around them. It’s an honor to call them family. Caleb is brother in law to us (Bart and Tara) and Whitney is a huge help nannying our kids so some of Tara’s jobs here at the office can continue without as much interruption.

In his spare time Caleb enjoys long range target shooting, dancing in the kitchen with his wife, playing guitar, and appreciates fast cars. (unfortunately, he will be stuck driving the Stronghold transit for now).

Caleb’s cheerfulness, honesty and respect are greatly appreciated by us and our customers. He will go out of his way to make sure the finished product looks great. And if you are as much as a Milwaukee tool enthusiast as Caleb is, you will have a friend forever.
